Nina Jane Patel is a globally recognized metaverse expert, tech futurist, and advocate for safe, responsible approaches to integrating the Metaverse into our lives. Considered cutting-edge and a thought leader on the implications of safety, psychology and physiology of human interaction in the Metaverse, Nina is a sought-after speaker and consultant on the Metaverse. Patel was recently featured in NBC Nightly News, NHK Japan and British Vogue’s coverage of the Metaverse.

As an award-winning entrepreneur, with unique insights as a psychotherapist, and psychology doctoral research Nina provides her signature keynote and workshops on stages around the world. Nina offers a soul-stirring call-to-action to contribute to shaping the future of the Metaverse. Nina shares her insightful and in-depth evidence based approach to integration of humanity and the Metaverse – the next evolution of technology that will change your life.

Nina Jane Patel is the co-founder and VP of Metaverse Research for Kabuni – on a mission to unlock the design potential in every child, and elevate life. We are dedicated to providing the safest space in the Metaverse for kids aged 8-16 to learn, grow, and explore within a classroom environment and at home. Designed for children to improve retention, engagement, speed, and health – based on our unique, evidence based methodologies.

Patel is a movement psychotherapist and doctoral scholar, awarded the Wilkie Calvert Scholarship – “Unlocking the Potential of Immersive Experiences for the Future of Human Society: Investigating the physiological and psychological impact of the Metaverse” Working at the intersection of culture, mental health and technology and an advocate for innovation, creativity, education and mental health. In 2022, Nina was awarded by the Canada Council for the Arts for new research investigating the relationship of the body, movement and self-expression in the Metaverse.

Pancham Gajjar, Product Manager – Reality Labs @ Meta 

 Pancham Gajjar is an experienced product and business leader with over a decade of experience of commercial product strategy and development, leading teams and advising non-profit organisations. She also worked in the financial industry for several years prior. Pancham has deep understanding of digital technologies around consumer behaviours, monetisation, and enterprise needs globally and currently serves as Board Chair of With Insight Education, a non-profit mentoring black-heritage students to apply to universities and progress in their careers. Pancham has an MBA from London Business School and a BSc. in Computer Science and Economics from Denison University.

James Whatley, Chief Strategy Officer @ Diva Agency

James Whatley is chief strategy officer for gaming-native creative agency, Diva. With over 15 years of marcomms experience working on integrated brand campaigns for clients such as Mondelez, Converse, Heineken, Expedia and Honda F1 Racing, James has been working at and writing about the forefront of digital trends for the best part of a decade. Occasionally describing himself as a ‘t-shaped strategist’, James notes that as his digital skillset has broadened from a discipline to something that impacts everything, so too has his work gone from depth of specialism to breadth of capability. Skills that have seen him develop award winning work at both WPP and Publicis.

At Diva, James puts these skills to use to help the world’s biggest and best games publishers, developers, platforms, and entertainment brands speak to millions of gamers all over the world.

James is also the co-creator of the DICE Charter initiative – a scored set of regulatory guidelines to ensure diversity and inclusion at conferences and events.

In his spare time, James writes an infrequent internet-culture newsletter called Five things on Friday, plays far too much PlayStation, and spends his weekends making huge Minecraft worlds with his two children. And yes, he is tired.

Anna Stoilova, Co-founder @ Rogue Fox Guild 

Anna Stoilova is a serial entrepreneur and a co-founder of Rogue Fox Guild, a post-apocalyptic multiplayer game where you earn and have fun. From the selling of the OG presale NFT collection to creating a 10k+ strong community, Anna has led the development of Rogue Fox Guild as an exciting upcoming play-and-earn game.

She’s also worked in virtual reality since 2016 and co-founded a data privacy startup where she helped the company get 100k sign-ups and 8k community members.

Amelia Kallman, Futurist, Speaker, Author @ Amelia Kallman

Amelia Kallman was recently named one of 2022’s ‘Top 25 Women in the Metaverse’. Amelia Kallman is a leading London futurist, speaker and author. As an innovation and technology communicator, Amelia regularly consults brands, agencies, and governments on the impact of new technologies on the future of business and our lives. She forecasts global trends and behaviours, helping clients navigate innovation, build strategies and deliver industry leading initiatives. She specialises in the emerging opportunities – as well as the risks – of XR, AI, data, and IOT. Recent areas of study include the future of the metaverse, NFTs, blockchain, tech responsibility, and the surfacing human rights issues of tomorrow.

She hosts the podcast XR Star, her popular innovation newsletter and YouTube channel, The Big Reveal, as well as a new series on YouTube called ‘Blockchain in the Metaverse’.
