Jodie Miller is an Investor at Beringea, a UK and US Series A venture and growth capital investor with ~$700m in funds under management.
Beringea invests across a wide range of sectors, including B2B software, consumer and marketplaces. Prior to joining Beringea, Jodie was on the investment team at Charlie Oscar, a specialist group of digital native brands. Jodie started her career in New York at PwC Strategy&, as part of its private equity deals practice, working on technology, healthcare and consumer deals.

Lucy Rhodes is an angel investor and a textile weaver. Lucy has been angel investing for 6 years and has 11 active investments in her portfolio, predominantly in the Medtech sector, but covering a range of technology businesses. During this time she has had one exit at a 5x multiple, and 2 failures.
Lucy now invests solely through the Angel Academe syndicate, which was set up in 2014 to invest in female-founded startups, as a result approximately 50% of her portfolio consists of female- founded or co-founded technology businesses.
As part of Angel Academe, Lucy helps to lead the due diligence process for interested investors in Medtech deals; managing the communication between investors and founder(s) and drawing on individual expertise in different areas, enabling all investors to benefit from this sharing of knowledge.

Laura Fullerton is a serial entrepreneur, and the Founder and CEO of Monk a health tech start-up that’s taking the vast health benefits of cold water therapy to the masses. Dubbed “The Peloton of the recovery world”, Monk is launching the world’s first smart ice bath and cold water therapy app, which combines data-driven tech and beautiful design.
Laura has previously bootstrapped and exited two businesses, and Monk is her first venture in which she’s raised capital. Early in 2022, she raised a friends and family round of £485k, and is now raising her seed round of £2m.
Laura is excited to share her experience, as she quickly encountered unique challenges of fundraising as a female-led start-up, and uncovered brilliant ways to reach new investors, turn no’s to yes’s, increase their cheque size, and tips on keeping existing investors happy and willing to spread the word.

Taryn Andersen is the CEO and coFounder at Impulse4Women, an international nonprofit organization matchmaking platform – connecting female tech entrepreneurs with investors and corporates.
Since 2016, Taryn has served as the Investor Relations Director at THCAP Venture Capital – investing in early stage Digital Health, EdTech, FinTech, Cyber Security companies.
Taryn has over 13+ years experience in investment banking. She also serves as a jury Member for the European Commission’s EIC Acceleration Funding Instrument and as a Facilitator at the EIC Women Leadership Program.
Coral Movasseli is the Founder of All in Tech (AIT), a dedicated platform helping women and people of colour thrive the workforce. A journey she embarked on in 2016 initially focused on helping women and girls in technology. She believes greater inclusivity & diversity in STEM is the path to alleviating inequality. She leverages her podcast, “The Allegory”, as a vehicle to get to know the human behind eminent tech figures and challenge everyday myths in our society to inspire disadvantaged groups.
Coral is passionate about making an impact in the world, she started her career in politics en route to becoming a Canadian Diplomat – developing economic strategy for the foreign office. She then moved on to commercial roles in London, Toronto and Dublin – building digital B2C and B2D products; distributing $2m+ funding for tech projects; and optimizing operational performance at large corporations. At Accenture’s Innovation Lab, she led teams to advise multinationals on their digital product and innovation strategies.
Coral holds a Masters of Science from the London School of Economics. She is the proud recipient of the Advocate of the Year by Women in IT (2019), and the Women of Influence by Irish Women’s Award (2020). She has received notable nominations, including the London Playmakers Tech Award.
